Universities’ Brightest Business Brain Grand Final
The Universities’ Brightest Business Brain (UBBB) Grand Final took place last Friday at Cass Business School. Located at the heart of the City, 66 finalists of the 3,000 students who registered to take the online challenge were invited to attend the event, run in partnership with Clifford Chance and supported by CIMA, Towers Watson, Cass Business School, Target Events and Brightest Minds.
Groups of 10 students each spent the day completing a range of challenges which included a topical debate, a simulated investor meeting and an egg drop where candidates had a range of materials to choose from to protect their egg before throwing it at a target. The whole event was approached in a friendly but competitive manner and as well as the coveted title of ‘Universities’ Brightest Business Brain 2011’ students were competing for a top cash prize of £1000 as well as one of three bursaries with Cass Business School.
